Mac Alert will now have the cheapest prices for new Macs in Adelaide!


From Monday the 29th of November 2007 our Apple machine pricing will be drastically reduced.  After long and hard consideration and taking into account the drop in prices and margins on Apple equipment (as well as the cheap online prices now available) we have decided to introduce a new sales model that should benefit all.

Our prices on Macs will be among the lowest in Australia!
 
To achieve this we will be making some changes in our sales approach.  From now on there will be only limited free sales support.  If consultation on a machine is required there will be a fee of $66 for the first half hour.

This should achieve the following:

  1. Those who know what they want and need only brief assistance get a very cheap price.
  2. Those who need help pay a fee but get professional independent advice plus they still get their equipment cheaper as the prices are so low.
  3. Now you can purchase a Mac at a very cheap price from a bricks and mortar store and rest assured that if you have any problems our service and support are second to none!
Don’t purchase a new Mac until you have checked our prices!

Showroom
Our showroom has most of the latest Macs on display.  It will be easy to purchase – simply grab a card for the machine you require, tick off any upgrades needed and bring it to the counter.  Cash, Eftpos, Visa or Mastercard is fine and you may also pay via Direct Deposit (payment needs to be received before goods are released). Rental is also available*.

Phone Sales
You may call and order your equipment over the phone, paying by Credit Card or Direct Deposit or Rental*. Pickup or delivery is available.

Web Sales
Our website will be updated with the latest pricing and restricted to South Australian purchases.  Payment will be by Credit Card, Direct Deposit or Rental*. Pickup or delivery is available.

* Rental Sales
You may still choose to rent your equipment.  This will usually involve a 10 min application process with Flexirent.  Once we have the approval you may come in and sign the paperwork for your rental agreement then pickup your equipment.

It is important to note that our service ethos will remain the same – we will be here to support you after the sale, for both Hardware and Software issues.  Both our Service Centre and Onsite Service are very fast, thorough and reliable.  By taking the sales pressure off our team we will be able to dedicate even more resources to the Service side of the business.
