Origins Mac Alert was formed to fill a gaping hole in the South Australian Apple market. Our services include Sales, Support, Training and Consulting. Before the G3 chip, the Mac market was in decline. With the release of the iMac and G3 workstations there was a huge resurgence in demand for Mac's. This, combined with the fact that good, or even satisfactory Macintosh service in Adelaide was rare, paved the way for Mac Alert to start trading. We have now been providing consistent, reliable support to businesses in Adelaide for over 11 years. Our Focus Mac Alert is an Apple Authorised Sales and Service Centre. On the service side we will always try to get your existing system working as efficiently and productively as possible. When it's time to invest in new equipment, you can relax in the knowledge that our prices are extremely competitive and the backup is there if needed. We always consider very carefully which equipment to recommend for each situation. We also consider which additional devices may be required for seamless integration into your existing setup. We specialise in the graphic design industry and also have several clients with Mac and Windows PC networks. If the cross-platform combination is giving you a headache, let us sort it out. We can create and setup websites, domains and Internet accounts, or maybe you need to update or troubleshoot your office's local area network to speed up your file transfers. Fast Warranty Repairs! We are an Apple Authorised Service Centre based in Adelaide. This means we can perform both warranty and non-warranty repairs. Our timeframes are faster than most and we have Apple Certified Techs to carry out the repairs. Peace of Mind For urgent situations we have a priority rates system which usually allows us to have a tech out to you same day, sometimes in minutes. Same day response service contracts are available. We also have loan monitors and machines for emergencies or short term rental. If your Hardware faults while under warranty we can organise a fast repair in our Service Centre. In the meantime we will keep close tabs on any delays on parts and keep you informed. Though we specialise in Apple Computers, we know you sometimes have to turn to the dark side ;) Our associated hardware and software product knowledge is excellent. Apple’s free* support line is a good place to start on 133 622 but we understand that there are some issues that just can’t be fixed over the phone. *your new Mac comes with 90 days free phone support - this is extended to 3yrs if you purchase Applecare. 3. DOA Guarantee If your machine faults within 10 days of your purchase we will confirm the fault asap and replace the machine from our own stock*. No lengthy delays and frustrating back and forth with Apple. Again the buck stops with us. *If machine is not in stock it should come in next day (excluding products on backorder with Apple.) 4. Maintenance Plan and Trade In We run our own maintenance plans here and offer you a Bonus first service if you wish to participate. This is a saving of $149! If you decide to continue on our maintenance plan we offer you a guaranteed extremely high trade in price! Of course the added reward is your machine stays in good order for the duration of your ownership! 5. We treat our customers as we would want to be treated... This says it all really. Once we have the approval you may come in and sign the paperwork for your rental agreement then pickup your equipment.
